Task Force Objectives
The aim of the task force is to study and publicize various approaches to food product safety evaluation

Main Activities To Date(Achievements)
(from January 2018 to September 2020)
1.
At the 46th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Toxicology(2019) Symposium "Have the risk assessment of foods evolved in Japan?" Announced "Issues for safety evaluation in the food field and new initiatives of ILSI Japan“
2.
Seminars for task force members have been held 9 times.
3.
Submission of manuscripts to ILSI Japan's in-house magazine
4.
Task force working meetings: held once every three months

Future Activities
1.
  The following research and information dissemination
   
(1)
The concept and methodology of safety evaluation of foods ingested by the elderly
   
(2)
A Natural Mistake: Why natural, organic, and botanical products are not as safe as you think (by Dr. Jim MacGregor)
2.
  Holding seminars and submitting their outcome to ILSI Japan's in-house magazine
3.
  The working meetings will continue to be held once every three months.
