Force Objectives |
|

The aim of the task force is to
deepen information exchange between its members concerning the
diversity of components in tea plants worldwide, the functions
of each tea component relating to beverages and other products,
and the relevant research, development, and product creation.
The task force also seeks to obtain information externally. |

Activities |

1.

The task force will
continue the Project for Analysis of the World's Tea Plants
and their Chemical Components, and promote diversified sampling.
|
|
|
The following future plans will
also be carried out: |

・

Since
statistical analysis is needed for the data already obtained,
it will be carried out by each company and the results will
be shared as much as possible |
|
|
・
|
Specifying attributes
such as the sample collection date, the region and the cultivar |
|
|
・
|
Collecting tea from
major tea countries such as Sri Lanka and China |
|
|
・
|
Collating data for
reporting to ICOS conference in November |
|
|
・
|
Will this database
be used for industrial and practical purposes, or for academic
purposes (rare specimens)? It may depend on the approach of
each company. |
